The NSF GRFP offers funding to graduate students pursuing research-based Master’s or Ph.D. programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. For students who intend to apply, the NSF GRFP Application Workshop Series offered through the Graduate Writing Center provides an overview of the program, guides students through writing personal and research statements via peer and instructor feedback, and addresses the process of requesting letters of recommendation, among other application components.

This is an eight-week remote program in the summer that includes six workshops designed to guide and support you through the application process.

The Fulbright-Hays provides grants to colleges and universities to fund individual doctoral students who conduct research in other countries, in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of six to 12 months. Please note that projects focusing on Western Europe are not supported.

Graduate students applying for the Fulbright-Hays must apply through the university. All materials including eCAF must be submitted to the Research Office. If you intend to apply for the Fulbright-Hays, please contact Andrea Gonzales (andrea.gonzales@ucr.edu) in Graduate Division.
