The Ford Foundation Fellowship provides fellowship funds to graduate students who intend to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing ethnic and racial diversity, maximize the benefits of educational diversity, and use ethnic and racial diversity as a resource to enrich the education of all students.
During Summer, students may enroll in our series of workshops covering the fellowship program as a whole and each of the required essays. These workshops can then be followed with individual sessions with consultants trained in Ford program requirements. Additionally, students enrolled in this summer program have access to an iLearn page containing a wide array of resources such as sample (funded) essays, brainstorming and revision worksheets, workshop videos, and much more.
Enrollment in the Summer 2021 program is now closed. However, students not participating in the summer programming are encouraged to make appointments with writing consultants to discuss their writing statements.
