Join the Graduate Writing Center's NSF GFRP Summer 2024 Series to get help with your fellowship application!
The NSF GRFP offers funding to graduate students pursuing research-based advanced degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students can only make a single funding application over the course of their graduate careers; as a result, students must decide with their PIs whether their first or second year of study will be the most advantageous for their application. For students who intend to apply for the NSF GRFP, the workshop series provides an overview of the program, guides students through writing the personal and research statements via peer and instructor feedback on drafts, and addresses the process of requesting letters of recommendation. One session will also be devoted to reviewing successful applications from previous funding cycles.
